Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Truck Driver Trainee in Delhi, LA. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailer combinations ensuring the safe and efficient transport of raw materials. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, inspecting equipment, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires one to two years’ related experience and/or training.
• A valid Class A CDL is required.
• Must have a current Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA’s Drug and Alcohol ClearingHouse.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor-trailer combinations to facilitate delivery.
• Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Inspects truck before and after trips and submits report.
• Complies with safety policies and reports unsafe activities.
• Services and maintains truck with oil, fuel, and fluids.

Skills

Safe operation of trucks

Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
