Job summary

Tindall Corporation is hiring for a yard/transport support role in Spartanburg, SC. You will transport empty and loaded trailers to crane and loading areas, assist in dunnage placement, and help with rigging and staging for hauling. Safety and quality rules must be followed to produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Bring trailers to crane, assist crane helpers with dunnage and trailer setup.

• Place trailer in staging area for hauling.
• Assist in loading erection material.
• Perform general yard maintenance and clean-up.
• Follow Supervisor directions and company safety rules.

Summary of Primary Functions :

Transport empty and loaded trailers to crane and loading/staging area for shipping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Bring trailers to crane, assist crane helpers with dunnage placement and extending trailers. Assist in rigging and setting dunnage for the travelift. Place trailer in staging area for hauling. Assist in loading erection material. Perform general yard maintenance clean-up. Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications or Qualifications :

Education and/or Experience : High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
