Job summary

GEX Transport in Covington, GA is seeking CDL Class A truck drivers to join our Southeast regional fleet with weekly home time and consistent miles.

We offer $1500–$1800 per week for dry van, no-touch freight, averaging 2500–3000 miles per week at about $0.60 per mile. Candidates must pass DOT drug screens and meet safety requirements.

Employees enjoy weekly home time, 5 days out and 2 days off, with Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday days off, and full company safety support.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years old to apply plus a valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Moving violations: No more than 3 in past 3 years; no more than 2 in past 12 months; no 15 mph over in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 DOT-recordable accidents in past 3 years; no rollover/run-off-roadway accidents.
• Incidents: No more than 3 in past 3 years.

Experience Drivers: Minimum of 12 months of Over the Road or Regional experience.

Compensation: $1500 to $1800 per week., (Dry Van Freight, no touch).

Miles per week: 2500 to 3000., $0.60cpm.

Home Weekly: 5 days Out and 2 days Off, home with your family...Days Off Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs.

Duties

• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation.

Requirements

• Must be 23 years old to apply plus a valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen. (Urine Test).
• Moving Violation: No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 12 months. No 15 MPH over in the last 3 years.
• DOT Recordable Accidents: No more than 2 DOT-recordable accidents in the past 3 years. No rollover accidents. No run-off-roadway accidents.
• Incidents: No more than 3 incidents in the past 3 years.
• Ticket / Accident / Incident Combo: No more than 3 combined tickets, accidents, and incidents in the past 3 years.
• Felony: All felony convictions must be disclosed. Criminal history is reviewed on a case-by-case basis by company safety and security personnel.
• Misdemeanors: Generally must be outside 5 years, reviewed on case by case basis.
