Job summary

The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with seed, crop inputs and services to raise healthy crops. The Trucking Division distributes product to our retail branches and customers, using 20-30 trucks and drivers.

We are seeking a local CDL Class A driver to support fertilizer and grain transport, with home most nights and DOT compliance expectations. Based in Colfax, WA area with dispatch from Colfax HQ.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with tank, doubles and hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles required.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Safety minded professional with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain TWIC card after hire if not already held.
• General knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supplying The McGregor Company ag retail facilities and local growers with fertilizer products from area ports/terminals, including liquid and dry fertilizers.
• Haul for outside entities during the off season, including but not limited to grain and seed products.
• General maintenance on equipment.
• Adherence to paperwork and DOT training regulations.
• Good customer service skills, drivers interact with grower customers.

The McGregor Company Trucking Division distributes product to our retail branches and direct to farm customers, utilizing 20-30 trucks and drivers.

Job Responsibilities

• Supplying The McGregor Company ag retail facilities and local growers with fertilizer products from area ports/terminals, including liquid and dry fertilizers
• Haul for outside entities during the off season, including but not limited to grain and seed products
• General maintenance on equipment
• Adherence to paperwork and DOT training regulations
• Good customer service skills, drivers interact with grower customers

Required Skills

• CDL Class A with tank, doubles and hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain Hazmat and tanker endorsements
