Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the Newark/California area. You’ll operate propane trucks, perform daily inspections, and maintain logs while working with a team you can trust.

This role offers home nightly routes, paid training, a 401(k) with company match and ESOP, PTO, and seasonal bonuses. A high school diploma and CDL with endorsements are required or obtainable quickly.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record and physical ability to lift 60 pounds.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas.
• Operate propane trucks following safety standards and DOT rules.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Assist customers with questions about deliveries and safety.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend deliveries.

• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
