Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to hit the road delivering propane to homes, farms, and businesses. You will be the face of Ferrellgas in the community, providing safe, professional service and performing daily truck inspections.

Local routes mean you are home every night, contributing to trusted relationships with customers. Qualifications include a Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements or ability to obtain quickly, a high school diploma, and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• CDL driving experience preferred or able to obtain quickly.
• Ability to safely operate propane delivery equipment.
• Good driving record and clean background.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Maintain delivery logs and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas.
• Follow all DOT and company safety standards during deliveries.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
