Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms and businesses, on local routes so you’re home each night. You’ll uphold safety standards, perform daily inspections, and provide friendly service as the company face in the community.

Starting pay is competitive with 401(k), ESOP, PTO, training, and seasonal bonuses. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer-focused service in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL required with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain quickly.
• Good driving record and ability to operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity daily.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in the community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred


• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Good driving record


• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions


• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
