Job summary

CHS United Plains in Haxtun, CO is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on managing our fertilizer blending plant and chemical warehouse, with occasional driving duties to deliver to local customers.

You will perform general labor, prepare trucks, maintain inventory, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and cover driver tasks during busy seasons. A Class A CDL is preferred and we can assist with obtaining it.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Summary

CHS United Plains in Haxtun, CO is looking for a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team! This individual would be mainly responsible for operations tasks including managing our fertilizer blending plant and our chemical warehouse. You would also be responsible for filling in for driver tasks. This could include delivering dry and liquid fertilizer to our local customers. This is a M-F role with Saturdays as needed during our busy seasons. The ideal candidate would have their Class A CDL or the ability to obtain (we can assist). Join our team today!

Minimum Qualifications (required)

- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations

- Must meet minimum age requirement

- Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Additional Qualifications

- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card

- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends

- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred

- Valid Class A CDL preferred

- Agriculture background preferred

- Customer service experience preferred

- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift 75 lbs

- Ability to climb ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer

- Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
