Job summary

Sunoco LP in Connecticut seeks an experienced Truck Driver to load, transport, and unload petroleum products with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

You will operate following DOT regulations, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and adapt to rotating shifts while maintaining high service standards.

A valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is required, along with a DOT medical card and the potential TWIC depending on location.

Qualifications

• 18 months verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL with X endorsement (Tanker and Hazmat).
• Must pass a current DOT physical.
• Must possess and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate and meet FMCSA standards.
• TWIC card may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Be able to safely load and unload a gasoline tank truck.
• Be able to safely transport loaded vehicle to assigned delivery point.
• Be able to prepare and document activities in accordance with Federal D.O.T. Regulations and Company Policies.
• Be able to perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Must be able and willing to work rotating or various shift schedules.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the loading, transporting, and unloading of petroleum products at Sunoco and customer locations. The driver must have a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, DOT regulations and obeying federal, state, and local laws.
