Job summary

Penske Local Logistics is hiring CDL Class A Truck Drivers for a 12 PM start in Fishkill, NY. This full-time role offers a 5-day schedule, home daily, and a $1 shift differential. Expect 45–50 hours weekly with overtime after 40 hours and a strong benefits package.

You will shuttle trailers of parts and supplies in late-model Penske trucks designed for comfort and safety, with in-cab cameras to enhance safety. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL and be U.S.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle trailers of parts and supplies.
• Drive late-model Penske-maintained trucks.
• Performance is supported by in-cab cameras for safety.

5 day schedule - Monday through Friday

Average 45 to 50 hours per week

You will drive:

Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
