Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a material delivery associate to help move products to customer job sites and support load-building activities. You will assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials in a fast-paced lumber yard.

The role requires operating a forklift, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean, orderly work area while providing courteous customer service and timely deliveries. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Effective one-on-one communication and clear written notes.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.

Associate is responsible for assisting in the delivery of material to customer job sites. Truck Driver Helpers must maintain a professional image and be courteous to all customers. They are responsible for building loads for deliveries and maintaining a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard; loading and unloading of lumber and/or building supplies, and operating a forklift.

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.

Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
