Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a frontline Helper role based at our Virginia locations. You will assist in delivering materials to customer job sites, build loads for delivery, and help load and unload lumber and building supplies.

The position requires operating a forklift and keeping the lumber yard clean, organized, and safe. We value clear communication and the ability to read simple instructions, write basic correspondence, and present information one-to-one.

Qualifications

Associate is responsible for assisting in the delivery of material to customer job sites. Truck Driver Helpers must maintain a professional image and be courteous to all customers. They are responsible for building loads for deliveries and maintaining a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard; loading and unloading of lumber and/or building supplies, and operating a forklift.
