Job summary

Hamrick's, Inc. is looking for experienced drivers to transport goods from our distribution center in Gaffney, South Carolina to our 20 store locations across several states. The role involves driving a tractor trailer, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL, have a clean driving record, and be able to lift heavy items. Enjoy the benefit of being home every night and weekend, working within a 60-hour DOT schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen.
• Be able to operate a pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Be able to bend, stoop, and lift heavy items (100lbs. +).
• At least 2 years of driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods by means of tractor trailer.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
• Log DOT information daily and abide by all DOT regulations.
• Perform daily safety check of the truck and trailer before leaving.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL license

Transport goods from out distribution center in Gaffney, SC to our 20 store locations in five states (SC, NC, TN, GA, and VA). All of our drivers are home every night and every weekend-all day runs. Drivers work a 60 hour DOT schedule.

Responsibilities

Transport goods (driving) by means of tractor trailer

Assist in loading and unloading of trucks

Log DOT information daily, abide by all DOT regulations

Perform daily safety check of truck and trailer before leaving

Qualifications
