Job summary

ADP is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for our DeLand Plant in DeLand, FL. This regular full-time role offers home daily responsibilities delivering product to customer locations and supporting on-site operations.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operate a trailer-mounted forklift, and uphold DOT regulations and safety policies while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Delivery operations and customer interaction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety policies required.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Experience operating forklift or trailer-mounted forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of product to customer locations and company facilities.
• Operate trailer-mounted forklift as part of on-site services.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; basic maintenance to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Interact with internal and external customers to maintain high quality service.

General Description: The Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering products and providing services which require a vehicle to be on site at customer locations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Delivery: Responsible for the delivery of product to customer location and other company facilities.

Services: Will be required to operate trailer mounted forklift for company services which require vehicles to be on site at customer locations.

Maintenance: Must be expected to perform pre-trip and post trip inspection. Required to perform basic maintenance duties to ensure vehicles and equipment run efficiently. This includes cleaning after usage.

Customer Service: Will be interacting with internal and external customers, will be expected to maintain a high level of customer service.

Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.

Comply with all safety and PPE policies while on the facility grounds.

Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
