Primary Responsibility / Summary

Drives bobtail truck or van as assigned to deliver and collect goods. Schedules are from 10 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. including weekends.

• Regularly inspects vehicle and fills out daily inspection forms.
• Complies with company safety procedures and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations.
• Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Loads, secures and unloads goods.
• Completes assigned route efficiently.
• Ensures all related paperwork is filled out correctly.
• Presents friendly, cooperative attitude at all times; is well-groomed at all times.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Must have a valid California driver’s license. Driving records must meet the requirements of company’s insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Education & Experience

• 1-2 years of class C driving experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Ability to work moderate supervision.
• Bobtail knowledge preferred
