Job summary

Hanes Geo Components, a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking a CDL-B Local Deliver Driver to join our team in Vancouver, WA. This position offers a competitive hourly rate with no nights or weekends and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include delivering goods, operating a forklift, handling warehouse duties when not delivering, and maintaining a safe, organized workplace. Minimum 1 year driving experience and a Class B CDL are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL License.
• Minimum 1-year verifiable truck driving experience.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Able to operate a forklift.

• Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have Class B CDL License.
• Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Able to operate lift trucks.
• Minimum 1-year verifiable truck driving experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES: The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:

• Must conduct himself/herself as an agent of the company and deal with the customers with proper care and attention.
• Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

WAREHOUSE DUTIES: Warehousework will be required when not delivering goods.

• Handling daily shipping and receiving of goods
• Safely operating a forklift
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Accurately locating material in the warehouse
• Knowledge of bar-coding system
• Inventory control methods
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
