Job summary

Tschiggfrie Excavating in Dubuque, IA seeks qualified drivers for full-time or seasonal part-time CMV roles. Operate dump trucks, tractors and trailers with a strong safety record, hauling asphalt, dirt and stone from quarries to job sites. 10–12 hour days with overtime possible, within a 150-mile radius of Dubuque.

Current CDL (Class A/B) and air brake endorsement required; pre-employment drug screen and physical card required. Hiring bonus and full company benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving experience.
• CDL class A or B required.
• Air brake endorsement required.
• Current medical/physical card.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Seasonal, up to 50 hours/week within 150 miles of Dubuque.
• Overtime and 5–6 day work weeks possible.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks, tractor and trailer and other CMV equipment.
• Load and haul asphalt, dirt and stone products from quarries to job sites.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with safety regulations.

This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles including but not limited to: dump trucks, tractor and trailer. Average work days are 10-12 hours per day and requires overtime hours, 5-6 days per week possible, Full-time and/or Part Time seasonal during construction season.

Qualifications

• 2 Years of prior driving experience.
• Requires driving semi tractors pulling conveyor, and side dump trailers.
• Products hauled include asphalt, dirt, and stone products from quarries and job sites.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Class A or B CDL required.
• Current physical card required.
• Air brake endorsement required.
• Seasonal work up to 50 hours per week, within 150 mile radius of Dubuque.
• Pre-employment drug screen.

Pay and Benefits

• Wages of $30.25 per hour.
• $2,000.00 Hiring Bonus (paid in 10 monthly installments after 30 days of employment).
