Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cincinnati, OH. This role offers a local home-daily schedule, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits. Start time is 6:30 AM with a 40+ hour work week on a Day Cab tractor and flatbed trailers.

• Must have a valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• 9 months of experience in past 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years or 5 years in last 10 years.

• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $32.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Tenure Bonus:Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
• Sign-on Bonus pays you $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
• Loyalty Bonus pays you $1250 at 6 Months and $1250 at 1 Year

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
