Associated Food Stores in Idaho is seeking a CDL Truck Driver focused on safety and reliable delivery to grocery retailers across the Intermountain West. You'll operate tractor-trailers, ensure on-time customer service, and enjoy home daily time with mostly out-and-back runs.

You’ll pre/post-trip inspect trucks, comply with FMCSA and DOT rules, and work with a team that values safety, performance, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience; 2 years preferred.
• No history of DUI or other drug/alcohol-related driving convictions.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred (training available).
• Valid Idaho CDL Class A and medical card.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer.
• Assist with unloading using a pallet jack when required.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries to various retailers; ensure accuracy and customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT and company regulations.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination.
• Assist with unloading using a pallet jack when required.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries to various retailers, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections on the tractor and trailer.
• Ensure compliance with company, FMCSA, and DOT regulations for safe operation of equipment.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and professional standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age of 23.
• One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required; two years preferred.
• No history of DUI or other drug/alcohol-related driving convictions.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred (training available).
• Ability to safely inspect and operate trucks and equipment.
• Valid Idaho CDL Class A and medical card.
• Professional, reliable, and timely, with knowledge of delivery routes and highways.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with all partners.
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening.
