Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring local CDL Class B Delivery Truck Drivers in Selma, TX. The role involves multi-stop deliveries of parts to auto dealerships, unloading with dollies, and scanning items.

You will operate late-model Penske trucks on a dedicated route, home daily with a Friday-to-Tuesday schedule that starts at 12 AM. Benefits include paid vacation from day 1, strong retirement and health coverage, disability and life insurance, uniforms, and referral bonuses up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Must pass DOT medical card requirements and background checks.
• At least 1 year of relevant commercial driving in last 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR record with minimal violations.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailers with pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• Route includes 6 stops plus 1 transfer per run.

• Average $73908 annually

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 6 stops and 1 transfer per route

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• 12AM start time

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
