Job summary

Penske is seeking CDL Class B Truck Drivers to join our team in Joliet, IL. Drivers will handle multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload with pallet jacks and hand trucks, and scan items on delivery. Positions offer home daily schedules and strong benefits.

Average annual pay is around $68,724 with additional performance incentives up to $10,400 annually and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. This role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and working with Penske maintained equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Work the required schedule and background check including drug screening.

Responsibilities

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Dispatch time 12:00am to 12:30am
• 5 day schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• Avg. 50 hours per week
• Home Daily

Qualifications:

• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
