Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time CDL Class A drivers for home daily, dedicated routes. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships and unload using pallet jacks, with in-cab cameras for safety.

Average annual pay is around $68,224, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and additional incentives up to $10,400. Benefits include health care, retirement plans, paid vacation from day one, and uniform support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• Must hold or obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English proficiency as required by federal law

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to track products as they are unloaded and delivered
• Drive late-model Penske trucks on dedicated routes
• Adhere to safety and DOT regulations at all times

What you will do:

Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships

Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages

Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

Tuesday through Saturday

2:00 AM start time

Average 45 hours per week

You will drive:

Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
