Job summary

Penske is hiring full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers in Fredericksburg, VA. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships and unload using pallet jacks, scanning products as you go.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL with Airbrake, a DOT medical card, and clean DMV/MVR. You’ll work Tuesday through Saturday on a third shift, with home daily and a dedicated route.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement required.
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in home state.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of relevant driving experience in the last 5 years.
• Two moving violations or fewer in DMV/MVR in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-stop parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using pallets jacks and hand trucks.
• Scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• Complete 9 stops and 1 transfer per route.

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 9 stops and 1 transfer per route

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• Third shift dispatch

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
