Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Leola, PA is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver. This position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for training and advancement.

You will drive regional routes, with a Day Cab tractor, and operate equipment including a pallet jack. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with applicable laws, safety, and accurate logs, while supporting loading/unloading as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Background and motor vehicle check for last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements.
• 9 months of experience in the last 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 OR 5 years in last 10.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Average $1700+ per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per layover, 1 - 3 nights per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Start Time: 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM

• Deliver SOLOTo: PA, OH & the NorthEast- Including the Burroughs
• Route: Regional nights out 1-3
• Tractor Type: Day Cab

• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Load Securement- Tarping & Strapping

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
