Penske Logistics in Warren, MI is hiring full-time CDL Class A truck drivers for home daily routes. Average earnings around $102,000 per year with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a driver referral program up to $5,000 per referral.

You will drive late-model Penske trucks with comfortable specs. The role delivers bread products to customers with pre-stacked dollies, averaging 1–4 stops per day, and a Monday/Thursday additional stop in Central and Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• English language proficiency per 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2).
• Background check and drug screening required for employment.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked wheeled dollies, allowing for easy roll-off deliveries and roll-on returns with no store deliveries required.
• Averaging 1 to 4 stops per day, with an additional stop in Central and Southeast Michigan on Monday and Thursday.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Schedule:

• 5-day work week (Tuesday and Saturday Off)
• Start time: 12:00 PM Central Time

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
