Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking experienced CDL Class A regional drivers in the Richmond, VA area. You will operate late-model Freightliner/Volvo trucks with 48–53 ft trailers, delivering aluminum products to customers and maintaining a high safety standard.

Average annual earnings are around $105,000 with top earners up to $120,000. Expect a 5.5-day schedule, home weekly, and a generous benefits package including health, retirement, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S.; state of residence license.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with <=2 moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Background check and drug screening required; DOT-safety sensitive role.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Regional Drivers

• Average $105,000 annually

What you will do:

• Deliver aluminum products to customers
• Secure and unsecure loads
• Perform occasional tarping as needed

Schedule:

• 5.5-day work week
• Flexible start times
• 4 to 5 layovers per week
• Mandatory reset after each work cycle

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailers experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailers experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
