Penske Logistics LLC in Jersey City, NJ seeks full-time Class A CDL truck drivers for home daily routes serving NYC, the Hamptons, and North Jersey. Average annual pay is $91,000 with a safety bonus and a referral program. Expect five-day schedules, Monday–Friday, and optional sixth day depending on DOT hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with ≤2 moving violations/accidents.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Regular, predictable full attendance is essential.
• English proficiency required by federal law.
• DOT/safety requirements and drug screening.
• Safety-sensitive role per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload palletized products to major retail locations in NYC boroughs, the Hamptons, and North Jersey.
• Safely handle freight with pallet jacks and liftgate-equipped equipment.
• Provide professional customer service with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Perform touch freight deliveries as part of the delivery process at each stop.
• City driving experience is required.

What you will do:

• Deliver and unload palletized products to major retail pharmacy locations throughout all five boroughs of NYC, the Hamptons, and North Jersey.
• Safely handle freight using pallet jacks and liftgate-equipped equipment.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Perform touch freight deliveries as part of the delivery process at each stop.
• City driving experience required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Dispatch window between 11:45 PM and 11:00 AM
• Drivers can choose to start within either the 11:45 PM to 5:00 AM window or the 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM window
• Optional 6th day available, if DOT hours allow

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
