Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Baltimore seeks an immediate full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver to deliver medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. You’ll operate late-model Penske trucks with comfort-focused specs and commit to safe, on-time deliveries.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with 12 AM–6 AM dispatch; home daily. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, paid holidays from day one, and a driver-referral program up to $5,000 per referral.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card current or ability to obtain
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Able to work the required schedule and follow safety rules

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Unload with pallet jacks and assist with pallet breakdowns as needed.

• Earn $32.09 per hour with overtime after 40 hours

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

What you will do:

• Deliver medical supplies needed to support patient care at hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Unload and transport products using pallet jacks, hand carts, and totes, including pallet breakdowns at delivery locations as required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Dispatch ranges from 12 AM to 6 AM

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
