Job summary

Penske Logistics in the United States (Arkansas) is hiring immediate opportunities for full-time local Class A CDL truck drivers on a dedicated route, home daily, Tuesday through Saturday with a 1:30 AM start.

Average annual pay around $68,570 with comprehensive benefits including paid vacation, health coverage, retirement benefits, disability and life insurance, uniforms, and driver referral bonuses. You will drive late-model Penske trucks, use scanners, and deliver to automotive dealerships.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with domicile in the U.S. and license in state of residence.
• Ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload the trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use a scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
