Job summary

Penske is hiring CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Faribault, MN. You will deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain, with dock-to-dock deliveries and a focus on safety. Expect to unload and stage products while maintaining a professional customer-facing attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card must be held or obtained.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years is required.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in 3 years.
• Must follow all applicable laws and company safety rules; complete Penske employment process and drug screening.
• DOT-regulated/safety sensitive role requiring alertness and personal safety responsibility.

• $20000 sign-on bonus

What you will do:

• Deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain, including freezer, cooler, and dry products
• All deliveries are dock-to-dock with no pallet breakdowns required
• Unload and stage product in designated store areas
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• 4-day and 5-day schedules available
• Tuesday through Saturday or Friday through Monday schedules
• 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM start times available

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
