Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring immediate opportunities for full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Stevens Point, WI. You’ll cover routes and perform multi-stop deliveries, unload trailers, and scan products at delivery. Enjoy home daily schedules (Mon-Fri) with a strong benefits package and a $7,500 retention bonus.

Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days of hire. You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks with comfort and safety features, and you’ll be part of a stable, nationwide

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• Three years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

What you will do:

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
