Job summary

GreenMark Equipment is seeking a full-time transport operator in Winamac, IN to move equipment between dealer facilities and to customers. You may also assist with deliveries from John Deere facilities, ensuring proper signatures and receipts are collected.

The role requires safe driving, familiarity with trailers, and the ability to maintain records, certifications, and knowledge of John Deere products. CDL preferred and readiness to follow DOT/OSHA guidelines is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience pulling a gooseneck, tilt, or utility trailer.
• 1+ year of experience using a low boy and wide load experience preferred.
• Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required.

Responsibilities

• Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory
• Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
• Maintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
• Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties
• May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
• May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
