Ryder System, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Class B CDL Truck Driver. The position offers weekly pay, 45+ hours weekly, per diem nights, and paid training. Regional routes use a straight truck with liftgate, servicing TX, NM and surrounding states.

Medical, dental & vision benefits begin after 30 days. PTO starts day one, plus 401(k) with company match and maternity leave options; uniforms and boot allowances are provided. Travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.

Responsabilités

• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records/logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $28.50 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 45 + hours per week
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (Scheduled 4 of those days)
• 5th work day possible & Saturdays as needed
• Start Time: 4:00 AM - 5:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
