Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class B Heavy Touch CDL Truck Driver in Thorofare, NJ, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. The role involves home-daily routes, touch freight of medical supplies, and a schedule of Monday–Friday with 50+ hours per week.

Requirements include CDL and endorsements, 21+ years old, DOT physical, and successful drug/background checks. Ryder provides paid training and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within 3 years OR 2 years within 5 years OR 5 years within 10 years

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
