Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver. You will drive on regional routes delivering food products & home goods, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. The role emphasizes safety and reliability, with strong home time and 5-day work week.

Expect late afternoon to late night dispatch, 36 months or newer equipment, and paid training. Eligible drivers receive a sign-on bonus and additional performance bonuses; PTO starts Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate logs/records.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.61 per (Mon -Fry) Mile
• Weekend Premium Pay: $0.67 per mile when working Saturday or Sunday
• Weekend Premium Pay: $0.72 per mile when working both Saturday and Sunday
• Solo Stops Pay:$25.00 per Stop
• Sign-on Bonus: $1100 at 30 days and $1100 at 90 days
• Loyalty Bonus: $1000 at 6 months and $1000 at 1 year
• Safety Bonus: Up to $300 a Quarter
• Paid Training
• Start Time: Mainly late afternoon to late night dispatch times
• 24/7 operations - 5 Day work week with 2 consecutive days off

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
