Ryder System, Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. Earn weekly pay with a competitive hourly rate and benefits, plus sign-on and tenure bonuses as part of a comprehensive driver program.

Expect 40+ hours per week, paid training, and a route that covers FL and surrounding states. Safety, compliance, and career growth are emphasized throughout your career at Ryder.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background checks.
• Pass DOT physical and road test.
• Minimum 9 months of flatbed experience in 3 years, or 2 years in 5 years, or 5 years in 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $30.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Per Diem Pay: $30 per night
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper
• Tenure Bonus:Pays You $1000 Each Year
• Sign on Bonus $3,000
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday - Must be Flexible

• Route:Regional
• Tractor Type: Day Cabs and Sleepers - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck
• TrailerType:48' - 53' Flatbeds, Dry Vans, Reefers, Conestogas, Curtainsides and Container
• Equipment: pallet jack, lift gate, rollers or Moffett preferred
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight:Mix or Touch and No Touch
• 1 year of flatbed experience preferred
• Hazmat, Tanker & Doubles/Triples Endorsements preferred
• Experience with strapping, chaining & tarping preferred

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
