The position includes per diem, sign-on bonuses at 30 and 90 days, paid training, and 24/7 roadside maintenance on trucks 36 months or newer. Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor-vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Minimum Class A experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Weekly pay: guaranteed $1500 per week
• Hourly pay: $33.00 per hour
• Hours per week: 40 or more
• Per diem: $50 per night
• Sign‑on bonus: $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
• Paid training and 24/7 roadside maintenance on trucks 36 months or newer
