Drivers operate well-maintained trucks with 24/7 roadside maintenance and nationwide locations. Earn PTO from day 1, uniforms and boot allowances, and company-matched 401(k) after a year. Home at least every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have verifiable Class A tractor trailer experience: 9 months (3y), 2 years (5y), or 5 years (10y) in last 3/5/10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Averaging $1850 per week
• Safety Bonus:Pays You $250 Every Quarter

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Pass a DOT physical

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
