Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dalton, Ohio. This position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path for a driving career you can feel good about.

You will drive across 48 states with sleeper tractors, with opportunities for bonuses and paid training. You can expect home time at least every other weekend, potential solo pay per mile, and various incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience past 3 years OR 2 years past 5 years OR 5 years past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws and regulations
• Detect and reduce safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Home at least every other weekend.
• Must be able and willing to drive into Canada
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.63 per Mile with 1900 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$30.01 per Stop with 8-10 Stops per Week
• Safety Bonus:Pays You $250 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays you $2000 at 6 months and $2000 at 1 year

Requirements
