Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in York, PA. Enjoy weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a long-term driving career. Start times range from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible Saturdays.

Operate sleeper tractors hauling dry van trailers across PA, OH, VA, WV, DE, MD, DC, NY, SC, NC, KY. Training provided, with safety as a priority and a strong driver support network.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and endorsements as required.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test and a background and motor vehicle check.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Minimum age 21 years old.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and safety standards.
• Detect and fix safety hazards; maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight as required by customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay & Schedule

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.75 per Mile with 1900 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$27.85 per Stop with 14 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $55.17 per night with 3 nights per Week
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays You $1000 at 6 months and $1000 at 1 year
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; possible Saturdays
• Start Time: Dispatch 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
