Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Baltimore, Maryland, for a Monday–Friday schedule with weekly pay. You will operate modern trucks on regional routes delivering to VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NYC & DC, with both touch and no-touch freight and a mix of day cabs and sleepers.

Earn $2,000 on average per week, with top drivers earning $100,000+ annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision after 30 days, PTO from day 1, uniforms, and a 401(k) with company match.

Competenze

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and endorsements or be willing to obtain.
• Minimum 21 years of age and pass drug test/background check.
• DOT physical and road test required.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay:$29.00 per hour base pay + bonus pay for endorsements
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• $50 per diem per night
• Annual tenure bonus: $1000 every year
• Paid Equipment Training
• Schedule:Monday – Friday schedule (flexibility required)

• Tractor Type: Day Cabs and Sleepers - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck
• TrailerType:48' - 53' Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, Conestoga, Curtainside and Containers
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers, Lift Gate and Moffett
• Freight:Mix of Touch/No Touch
• Endorsements: Must be willing to obtain

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
