Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Aurora, CO. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, paid training, and a Monday–Friday schedule with start times around 5:00 AM.

Expect 45–50 hours per week, regional travel up to a week, and 30' pups with 26' straight trucks. Ryder emphasizes safety, training, and a strong support network for drivers.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age and ability to pass drug, background, and DOT checks.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and read/interpret regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws and guidelines.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting with loading/unloading when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs; driving solo to 48 states on regional routes.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $31.40 Per Hour


• Travel Time: $31.40


• Hours Per Week: 45 - 50 hours per week


• Per Diem Pay: $69.00 per night


• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age


• Pass a Ryder Drug Test


• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years


• Pass a DOT physical


• Pass a Ryder road test


• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position


• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:


• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR


• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR


• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years


• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions


• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
