Job summary

Ryder in Burlington, NJ is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a safe, well-supported team. Enjoy weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Primary routes are regional with overnight hotel accommodations provided and paid training offered.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with start times around 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM, no weekend work, and opportunities for PTO, uniforms, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.68 per Mile with 1500 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$15.00 per Stop with 38 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 2 - 4 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM Dispatch

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
