Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Fruitland, ID to join a regional, 55+ hour work week with 24/7 support and extensive benefits. Earn $1,650+ per week, with guaranteed bonuses including a $2,000 sign-on and a $2,000 loyalty bonus, plus paid training and overtime opportunities.

Tractor is sleeper 53’ dry van with no-touch beverage freight; routes to ID, NV, OR and WA. Endorsements required within 90 days; hazmat preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements (Hazmat required within 90 days).
• Minimum 21 years of age; pass Ryder drug test, background, and motor vehicle check within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policy.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist when required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Solo Miles Pay:$0.59 per Mile with 2500+ Miles per Week
• Safety Bonus:Pays You Up To $2000 Per Year

• Sign on Bonus: Pays you $2000; $1000 at 30 days, $1000 at 90 days
• Loyalty Bonus: Pays you $2000; $1000 at 6 months, $1000 at 1 year

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
