Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to operate local yard routes with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, paid training, and a strong company support network.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends. Candidates must have a valid CDL-A with endorsements, pass Ryder's drug and background checks, a DOT physical, and have verifiable tractor-trailer

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within an area on public roads
• The position requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Maintaining accurate move and yard inventory records
• Other tasks as assigned

• Hours Per Week: 50 hours per week
