Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Mankato, MN seeks a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a local home daily route with no-touch yard work. You’ll earn weekly pay and enjoy comprehensive benefits after 30 days, plus a $3,000 loyalty bonus over the first year.

The schedule typically alternates 4 days one week and 3 the next, with start times from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and 36–48 hours per week. Endorsements training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in past 5 years, OR 5 years in past 10 years.
• Ability to pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical.
• Must be able to read, follow and apply written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of hours and trips.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

$1116 - $1562 per week Depending on schedule - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $31.00 for PM Shift
• Hours Per Week: 36 - 48 hours per week Depending on schedule chosen
• Endorsement: Tanker Endorsement within 30 - 60 days of hire
• Backing Experience Required
• $3000 Loyalty Bonus: $1500 paid at 6 months + $1500 paid at 1 year

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
