Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Tucker, GA is seeking a Part Time SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver. Weekly pay is $608 based on 32 hours; hourly pay is $19.00. Local home daily with a Mon-Fri schedule, start time 7AM-2PM.

Uniforms allowance and 401k rollover with company match at one year are provided. Ryder Drivers are trusted to make driving decisions to stay safe. Join a family-focused logistics team with opportunities to grow, while driving a modern, low-touch shuttle between Ryder customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and background check.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide valid Class A CDL and endorsements.
• 9 months experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5, or 5 years in the last 10.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle and comply with safety & DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records as required.
• Represent Ryder professionally and follow instructions.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Immediate opening for a Part Time SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Tucker, GA!

Weekly Pay $608 per week (based on 32 hours per week)

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $19.00 Per Hour
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Start Time: 7AM-2PM

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight: No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

Additional Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs Other tasks as assigned
