$1280 or more per week and $3500 in bonuses within the first year, plus hourly pay of $32.95 and 40+ hours per week. Schedule: Mon–Fri; Start time 4:30 AM. Local route with 26 ft/53' dry van equipment and Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• 9 months of Class A tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years (or 2 years in last 5, or 5 years in last 10).
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle checks, including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Start Time: 4:30 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, & Hand Truck
• Endorsement: Hazmat required within 90 days of hire
• Freight: Touch – HVAC

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations
