Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our local fleet. Positions offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a stable driving career with opportunities for advancement.

Key routes include local deliveries to KY/TN with home daily schedules. The role requires a valid Class A license, DOT medical card, and the ability to pass Ryder's drug and background checks. Training and support are provided to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Minimum 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Shutdown Bonus:Pays You $2000 in First Year


• Sign On Bonus:Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days

• Schedule: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday


• Start Time: Must be flexible with AM and PM shifts


• PM Shift for first 2 years with 11 hrs of daily drive time
