Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A or B Driver to join our logistics team in Clearwater, FL. You will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, ensure accurate manifests, and maintain safety and DOT compliance on every trip.

Preferred candidates have at least one year of CDL driving, a valid state license, and forklift experience. We offer attractive shifts, comprehensive benefits, generous time off, and opportunities for career growth in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and a valid state CDL license.
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred (FMCSA/DOT compliant).
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations and maintains safety and vehicle standards.
• Ensures manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.

• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.

• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.

• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.

• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.

• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)

• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred

• Forklift certification preferred

• Spanish language proficiency
